A new bubble effect, a paid champagne lounge, and the ice rink's seventh season - Tokyo Midtown is going harder on Christmas 2026 than any year since the pandemic.
Tokyo Midtown's Christmas program - MIDTOWN CHRISTMAS 2026 - is officially confirmed for Thursday, November 26 through Friday, December 25, 2026, with free evening viewing of the main 'MIDWINTER LIGHTS' and 'THE DREAMING TREE' installations from 17:00 to 23:00.
The news is the debut of a bubble illumination that fires every four minutes during the main light sequence - the first time Midtown has used a physical particle effect on top of its lawn display. A new paid 'MIDWINTER LOUNGE' with champagne service runs on the lawn Nov 26 - Dec 20.
