花會式是奈良藥師寺的修二會,因向主尊供奉十種造花而得名。活動期間由10位僧侶每天進行六次法事,寺方的活動介紹稱其為奈良春天到來的象徵。3月25日在焚燒護摩木後舉行過火儀式,3月31日則舉行驅鬼儀式「鬼追式」。
