若草山燒山於每年1月的第四個週六舉行,2027年為1月23日(週六)。傍晚17:00舉行消防團出陣式與神火行列,18:15左右施放大型煙火,18:30左右點燃若草山。燃燒中的山景可欣賞至約19:30,山麓設有收費觀賞區。
