關於這場祭典
玉取祭(玉せせり)每年1月3日在筥崎宮舉行。13:00舉行洗玉儀式後,僅著兜襠布的參與者在水中濺起水花,爭奪木製的玉。據說若陸側舉起玉,當年農作豐收;若海濱側舉起玉,則當年漁獲豐收。
