One of Japan's most dangerous festivals — 4-ton wooden 'danjiri' floats are pulled through Kishiwada streets at full speed while acrobats stand on top. Serious accidents happen most years. Utterly thrilling to watch.

Western Japan's largest-scale fireworks show — 25,000 shells launched in just 46 minutes over Hamadera Park on the Osaka coast. Successor to the Takaishi Seaside Festival (since 2013), aiming to reach ~45,000 shells within 6 years.
