この祭りについて
京都の壬生寺では、約九百年の歴史をもつとされる厄除けの節分会が3日間行われます。壬生狂言の演目「節分」は、狂言堂で1日4回、17時から毎時0分に無料で上演されます。また、素焼きの炮烙を奉納する習わしがあり、寺はこれを当寺ならではの信仰としています。
