About this event
Sapporo White Illumination is a free winter lighting event at several venues in central Sapporo, now in its 46th year. In the 2026 season the Ekimae-dori venue runs until February 11, 2027, while the Minami 1-jo, Akapura and Sapporo Station south plaza venues run until March 14, 2027. A Nakajima Park venue is planned for early to late January 2027, and the Odori venue ends on December 25.
