What the experience is like

teamLab Planets is seven immersive 'water and art' installations across 10,000 square meters. You remove your shoes and roll up your pants at the entrance (the venue provides lockers and towels), then walk barefoot through ankle-deep water in an infinity-mirrored koi fish projection room, climb through a soft bouncing-foam universe, and sit in a mirror-floored flower garden. Phone photography is encouraged and expected. The 'Garden Area' is a secondary space with moss and orchid installations. Allow 90 minutes end-to-end, 2 hours if you want queue photos in each installation.

  • ●Water room — ankle-deep water + koi projections. Shorts or roll-up pants required.
  • ●Infinity Crystal Universe — mirror-floor LED corridor (don't wear a short skirt).
  • ●Soft Black Hole — walk through squishy foam that resists your steps.
  • ●Floating Flower Garden — orchids hang and rise around you as you move.
