奈良春日大社会在节分当天于境内灯笼点起净火，称为节分万灯笼。据神社介绍，境内约有3,000座灯笼，其中石灯笼约2,000座、吊灯笼约1,000座。神社年中行事表标示点灯时间为节分当天18点，2027年另有2月3日（周三）19点30分开始的付费导览夜间体验。
