Kenrokuen Free Cherry Blossom Viewing and Light-up (Kanazawa Castle Park)

Kenrokuen Garden is open free of charge and illuminated for a limited time during the cherry blossom season. In 2026 the free period ran from April 2 to 8, from 7:00 to 21:30, with the lights coming on at sunset. The Kanazawa Castle Park page of Ishikawa Prefecture also lists extended evening hours from sunset to 21:00, with free admission, in tourist season including cherry blossom season.
Akses: About 3 minutes on foot from the Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle Park bus stop on the Kanazawa Loop Bus (stop RL6 or LL9); no parking.
