The concentrated 15-night window is a feature, not a bug. Unlike Tokyo's spread-out illuminations, Hikari-Renaissance crams nearly every attraction onto Nakanoshima island, where you can walk from the Central Public Hall projection to the Rose Garden tunnel in about four minutes.
